these qualifications will not be considered. A leading Special
Education Cooperative in Burbank, IL is seeking a dedicated Social
Worker to provide critical support for K-12 students during an FMLA
leave coverage period. This contract position offers the
opportunity to work both in cooperative classrooms and member
district buildings, serving students from elementary through high
school. Location: Joliet, IL Role Duration: Contract through the
current school year (CSY) Schedule: Approximately 0.6 FTE (3 days
per week), with potential extension through the end of February Key
Responsibilities: Deliver social work services tailored to K-12
students social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate
closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and
implement individualized plans that promote student success. Manage
a caseload that may include students from various grade levels,
with flexibility to address diverse needs based on experience.
Provide direct in-classroom support both within the Special
Education Cooperative and member district buildings. Assist in
crisis intervention, counseling, and referral to community
resources as necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Valid ISBE
Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Social Worker
endorsement. Experience working within school settings, with a
strong ability to engage students across the K-12 spectrum. Proven
skills in addressing FMLA leave coverage and flexible scheduling.
Effective communication and collaborative skills to work with
multidisciplinary teams. This role offers the rewarding chance to
