As part of Johnson Controls, a pioneering force in smart building technologies, the Fleet Optimization Associate Project Manager will play an integral role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our transportation assets. This position is pivotal in leveraging cutting-edge technology and data-driven strategies to reduce operational costs, boost sustainability, and uphold our commitment to delivering top-tier client services. With a focus on our state-of-the-art systems, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements across our global fleet operations, aligning with our overarching goal of creating smarter, more secure buildings worldwide. Develop and implement fleet management strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze fleet operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to integrate fleet management software and tools. Manage projects to upgrade fleet technologies, including smart vehicle tracking and fuel management systems. Coordinate with sustainability officers to ensure fleet operations are environmentally compliant and aligned with company sustainability goals. Prepare and present detailed reports on fleet performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Liaise with external vendors and internal procurement teams to manage fleet acquisitions and disposals. Proficiency in fleet management software and GPS tools. Strong analytical skills for handling large data sets and generating actionable insights. Excellent project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Understanding of sustainability practices related to transportation and logistics.
