Job Description:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst is responsible for managing a caseload of 8-13 client; providing Applied Behavior Analysis services in a home setting. The BCBA is responsible for the evaluation of new clients on their caseload, as well as the development and maintenance of clients ongoing therapy programs. The BCBA is also responsible for consistent parent training, as well as mentorship and training for the RBTs on their caseload.Essential Functions:Travel to clients' homes to provide therapy servicesAssess incoming clients for treatment using various assessment tools, and provide a clinical recommendation for weekly treatment hours based on client needDevelop individualized therapeutic programs to address client goals, drawing heavily from NET principlesRevise and update client programs on a regular basis, every 1-2 weeksSupport RBTs via mentorship and training for children on their caseloadProvide supervision for 5-10% of an RBTs supervision hoursDirect work with clients, always being ready to model a skill for an RBT or clientComplete and submit required documentation, including, but not limited to, SOAP Notes, Evaluations, Progress Reports in accordance with practice guidelinesCoordination of care with other professionals and disciplinesSupervision of at least 1 student earning their BCBA fieldwork hours, if necessaryMentor and train new team members as requested by Clinic ABA DirectorParticipate in weekly team meetings with the clinics ABA and BCBA teamsMaintain targeted caseload of 28 therapy hours per weekRequired Education, Experience and Credentials:Masters Degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or a related fieldCurrent BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)Experience working in a clinic settingAbility to work independently and provide direct care with minimal support and supervisionReliable transportationMust be willing to travel and provide direct care in clients homesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to mentor and develop RBTs and future BCBAsCompetence with a variety of computer applicationsFamiliar with a wide variety of ABA assessmentsPersonal Attributes:Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as a teamComfortable persona to better develop relationships with children and their familiesDevelopment mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvementPassion for working with children with special needsDedicated clinician with a passion for quality outcomes rooted in education, training and developmentAccountable for personal behavior and performanceReceptive to feedback with a commitment to personal and professional developmentHonest and transparent communicatorWork Environment and Physical Demands:In-home setting, varied environments with potential exposure to allergensAbility to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessionsAbility to lift or carry 50 lbs unassistedAbility to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapyTravel RequirementsTravel to client homes within the designated service area is requiredReliable transportation and the ability to travel to various locations as needed to provide in-home therapyOccasional travel to Westside Childrens Therapy clinics for team meetings or additional training, if necessaryOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
