Description and Requirements for our Investment Operations Analyst I

The Investment Operations Analyst can expect to focus in the following areas:

As the Investment Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate portfolio data, answering staff and client data related questions, fulfilling reporting requests, and assisting with billing and various data projects as needed. You will be responsible for troubleshooting portfolio data related issues, coordinating with our portfolio management system support team or internal staff when necessary, and monitoring and correcting cost basis discrepancies between the custodian and our systems. You will also create transaction history for manually maintained accounts, set up new client accounts and groupings accurately and in a timely manner, and assist with client billing and quarterly performance reporting.

A couple things to note about our Investment Operations Analyst:

This position has the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule out of either our Rockford, IL headquarters or our Madison, WI locations.
This is a full-time position, with a minimum expected hour amount of 40 hours per week.

The Investment Operations Analyst typically requires the following qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you will need a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or a related field from an accredited college or university.
You should have 1-3 years of proven employment success, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and investment and reporting software experience is preferred.
Additionally, strong analytical and financial skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
You must be client-oriented, a team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others.
