Job Description:

Kelly in partnership with our customer in Darien is seeking qualified candidates for several Direct Hire Production Specialist positions.-- In these direct hire roles, you will start on day number one as an employee of our customer organization.Hours:-- 2 shift options currently available

• 8 Hour Third shift 10pm-6am
• 12 Hour Night shift 6pm-6am on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule--
• Lots of overtime availablePay:-- $15.89/hr.Benefits:

  • Paid-time off--Job Duties:
    • To develop a working knowledge of production schedules; learning to read and follow schedule instructions.
    • Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements/specifications.
    • Monitor auto filled bags or trays for required fill weight, back seal, end seal, label placement, date code and label accuracy to requirements/specifications.
    • Reports deviations from product requirements to the operators or supervisors.
    • Ensures that cases enter the case sealer correctly.
    • Visually inspects products and ingredients for blemishes or other flaws, extraneous vegetable material or discolored units.
    • Stops production to report any serious deviation from requirements/specifications, or malfunction of line equipment.
    • To maintain area housekeeping.
    • To assist operators with startup, production, change over and shut down of production.
    • Any other duties assigned by management.Qualifications:
      • Ability to learn and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for safe food handling and packaging
      • Ability to work well in a production team environment
      • Must have reliable/consistent attendance
