** Rockford 3rd shift Assembler****Job Category****:** Manufacturing **Requisition Number****:** ROCKF001449 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Job Summary**: To produce quality parts within reasonable expectancies.**Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:*** Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment* Must be able to read prints and process sheets* Must be able to perform first piece inspection as well as in process quality checks accompanied by the required paperwork* Must be able to properly identify parts and operate all equipment used in the assembly process and be able to identify and properly tag rejected parts* Must understand and follow all ISO procedures* Must be able to assist with the training of new employees, and follow all company policies and procedures* Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a team based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, and accountability* Must be able to consistently satisfy or exceed productivity requirements* Must be able to perform inspection process and complete all related production paperwork* Must be able to set up equipment or machines and perform simple adjustments and minor set up of some dies**Experience and General Skills Required:*** Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), power tools, and measuring equipment* Read, learn and follow training, adhere precisely to written procedures* Problem solving skills* Must be able to follow detailed instruction, inspection procedures and product appearance* Will work from engineering drawings and/or specifications**Education Requirements:** None**Physical Requirements:** Prolonged standing and walking. Some lifting (not to exceed 50 lbs.) is required. Some daily computer work is required.
