Position Description:
We are seeking an addiction counselor to work with criminal justice population and our outpatient team -to provide addiction treatment services in the Boone County jail setting and community. - This position is responsible for being the primary counselor for clients with substance use disorders and includes assessments, outpatient continued care groups, case management, and a collaborative relationship with Boone County community partners. It includes facilitation of an educational group for at risk adolescents. The ideal candidate has a passion for this population and ability to thrive in a fast pace environment. - Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Skills & Requirements

• 
  
• Masters -degree preferred in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
  
• CADC or be certified within 12 months
  
• Experience in addictions treatment
  
• Able to conduct individual, group and family counseling sessions
  
• Provide case management, treatment planning, and discharge planning for clients
  
• Valid driver's license
