PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to work at the -Freeport, IL Honeywell Location.Job Descriptions:--- Operates production equipment; responsible for manufacturing and assembly of electrical safety products.--- Follows BOM's, Standard Work, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.--- Performs a variety of tasks.--- Works under general supervision.--- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.Key Responsibilities

--- Operate assigned equipment.

--- Participate in continuous improvement activities.

--- Support the Honeywell Operating System (HOS).

--- Maintain work area(s) for operation and cleanliness.

--- Comply with all safety rules.

--- Record and report production data.

--- Diagnose and remedy operating difficulties.

--- Work from set-up sheets, prints, spec-sheets, work orders, written and verbal instructions.

--- Have a basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the ability to adjust processes.

--- Use all necessary equipment to check parts for conformance.

--- Document items such as scrap and machine time.

--- Assist servicers to ensure smooth flow of parts through the cell supporting team requirements.

--- Interface with support areas such as Maintenance, QA, and Production Control.

--- Communicate problems to supervisor.

--- Cross-train within your department and perform duties of similar complexity, as needed. - Qualifications / Skills:--- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.--- Prefer 1-2 years of related experience.--- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.--- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.YOU MUST HAVE

--- High School Diploma or GEDWE VALUE

--- Ability to collaborate with others and work independently

--- Attention to detail

--- Ability to troubleshoot

--- Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity

--- Creative thinking and idea generation

--- Manufacturing experience
