Job Description:

Position Purpose:This is an entry level position at a behavioral health company working within the Performance Improvement team. This position will work to implement performance improvement functions in accordance with written agency policies and procedures and accreditation standards, ensure Performance Improvement Department goals and functions are completed in a timely and efficient manner, and assist in Quality Improvement and Performance Management initiatives throughout the entire Behavioral Health organization.Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:Minimum: H.S. DiplomaPreferred: Bachelor'sPreferred: NIATx, Lean, Six Sigma or other change management certification; knowledge of SUPR, DMH, TJC and other regulations related to Behavioral Health services.Required:Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office; particularly adept in Excel and Word.Demonstrated excellence with creating Chart, Graphs and other GraphicsExcellent written communication skillsExcellent verbal communication skillsExcellent critical thinking skillsKnowledge of statistical analysis techniquesAttention to detail and ability to discern discrepancies within data setsMust be able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive informationEssential Responsibilities:Evaluate and convert raw data into reliable information and prepare reports in a usable format based on an understanding of administrative needs.Help in determining data needs and report functionality based on end user needs.Coordinate and facilitate Performance Improvement Committees- including scheduling, compiling and distributing minutes and other documentation, sending reminders of activities due as well as any needed follow up and serving as the implementation champion and change leader.Participate in Performance Improvement Teams, Ad Hocs, Root Cause Analyses and Intense Analyses as directed. Duties often include: scheduling, taking minutes, reminding staff of upcoming tasks.Manage and update the electronic survey system as needed, creating new surveys for a variety of audiences and various departments.Maintaining all aspects of the electronic Internal Notification system platform. Including assigning user roles, training, and ensure follow up is completed.Compile Internal Notification Form data from the electronic platform and prepare graphic and written reports for presentations.Manage and update the Policy and Procedure software system (Policy Tech) including loading all new staff into the system, providing training and assistance to staff in operating Policy Tech software, and assigning Policies and Procedures as required.Develop and create Standard Operating Procedures related to performance of job-specific duties.Meet all required due dates.Create data-gathering tools (forms/spreadsheets) as needed.Compile data through the use of spreadsheets / databases / ESR queries and convert into information for reports.Perform accurate statistical calculations.Understand audience needs to determine the most effective mode of data display.Prepare graphic displays of data, e.g. control charts, bar charts, graphs, etc.Serve as resource and provide training to staff, as necessary, in PI related topics.Compile data and convert to information for scorecards and dashboards.Help maintain and verify data for all reports and dashboards.
