2nd shift Quality Tech/ Quality Control Inspector Needed in Dakota, ILDuration: Contract to hireHours: 6pm - 6amPay: $17 -$17.50 depending on experience (potentially higher)Overtime required as needed--Environment: Manufacturing--Resume required. • 1 year + quality control experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong work tenure/ work history length--Responsibilities
  • Computer and math skills a must. Quality checks done in the Quality lab according to work instructions on each document of quality checks and should refer to the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Food safety checks per the line HACCP plan (i.e. formulation, ph, moisture, salt) ------- --Viscosities (using the Boswick meter) for all processes requiring viscosities. ------- --Color variations using NCI chart and Colorimeter. -------Appearance/Flavor/Aroma/Body/Texture/Mouth feel by comparing to control samples.
  • When can line is running there needs to be a seamer check which consists of using CCTV Monitor (small x-ray) and check for height, body hook, overlap, cover hook, tightness. --They are also required to check the countersink.
  • Drain weights according to the process requirements
  • TC testing on equipment prior to production run
  • Responsible for Food safety
  • Floor quality checks
  • Verify production paperwork/charts is being filled out correctly
  • Communicating with the Production Supervisor(s)/Production Staff if problem arises...example- GMP'S, Procedures and Policy are not being met fully
  • Checking label/case code/sticker and pallet pattern to the master file and production sheet per customer request
  • Overall package appearance(inside/out) before warehouse picks up the order
