In addition, tool maintenance, troubleshooting and repair are also included. The scope details include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Support of COMMS block point updates 2. Create/Maintain of COMMS input and output reports 3. Update and maintain the CDT User Guide 4. User support (Questions and training - After sufficient ramp up time) 5. Aide Collins IT and program groups to troubleshoot tool issues at Collins. 6. Collins will provide local and remote access to Collins Rockford Test Server. This will be needed to push and test tool changes and updates. Collins employees only will have database level access to SQL production servers. 7. Will support investigations into alternate Interface management tools Primary Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline System engineering design (generation, distribution, communications or BITE) with experience in requirements generation, requirements validation, requirements management, simulation development, system verification planning, and system testing Aircraft Electric Power System design experience highly preferred Makes decisions having major system impact Experienced in full software lifecycle development Displays organizational knowledge; knows where to go to overcome barriers and to get the right people involved to solve problems Acts as watchdog to ensure program quality is maintained for individual/other team member contributions Champion for process/new methods application Independently establishes an overall course of action considering immediate and future requirements Any specific industry experience Aerospace Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
