Job Description Job Description PLITEK L.L.C. is looking to fill an immediate position as an Extruder Machine Operator. This important position requires a self-starter, quality minded, and responsible individual. Knowledge in Extrusion Machinery (blown, cast, sheet, injection molding), press set-up, and process improvements is a must. To Note: The role may shift at times from just running an extruder, to running other presses in the factory as demand shifts. Available shift: 2nd, and 2/3 shift flex positions The candidate will be responsible for product quality, completing process runs & documentation. Primarily extruding plastic-based films. Must have some experience with the extrusion process Job Description: 12-hour shifts and overnight rotations are possible: - Machine operating experience, training, or education is required. - Creative problem-solving skills and demonstrates a willingness to learn. - Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of using quality measuring devices. - Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills. - Must have the ability to perform basic math - Will conduct quality inspections, and record results as required.
