Position Title: Backshop Worker Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours: 5:00AM - 5:00PM (Monday - Thursday) QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Backshop Worker at a company in Janesville WI. Backshop Worker Responsibilities: - Connect air hose to pipes and drop in water to test for air leaks and defects in pipes - Monitor gauges to ensure that pipes are able to hold the required pressure without leaking - Visually inspect tubes for any defects - Assist in loading and unloading trucks - Clean warehouse as needed: sweep, mop, organize shelves, etc. - Perform machine set up - Print labels for products - Use forklift, reach truck and stand up forklift to move materials to and from the mills and shipping department once trained and certified - Assemble cardboard or wood boxes using saws, staples, and nail guns Requirements for Backshop Worker: - Able to lift 35lbs on occasional basis - Able to stand and walk entire shift - Able to bend, stoop and reach frequently throughout shift - Mechanical aptitude - Strong attention to detail - Hand tool experience janesville@qpsemployment.com IND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
