How Agropur Invests in you: Starting pay of $25.18/hour Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotations on NIGHTS: 6 PM to 6 AM Two pay increases in the first year up to $1.00 Double Time on Sundays Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long-term Disability Insurance 401(k) with up to a 7% company match 3 Weeks PTO 7 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays Advancement Opportunities Tuition Reimbursement Paid parental leave What the Permeate Operator role is about: The permeate plant operator will be responsible for the operation of processing permeate into high quality deproteinized whey powder. In addition, the permeate plant operator will also be self-motivated and be able to perform the required job duties and responsibilities efficiently in a team environment. The permeate plant operator will also need to be able to communicate effectively with all team members during the shift as well as at shift change. Additionally, the permeate plant operator will need to be able to execute basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Perform accurate hourly checks on assigned equipment and make any necessary adjustments to keep product within customer and organization specifications. Machines Include: Evaporator, Fluid Bed, and Packaging. Checks include: flow rates, temperatures, system pressures, pH, fans speeds, amps readings, moisture, and percent solids. Shutdown, clean, and start up assigned machines on a daily basis or when required. Set up line circuits, silos, and tanks to be CIPed and set up backup for production as required. Load and unload outgoing and incoming trailers including Dry cargo, bulk powder, and liquid tanks. Complete needed quality checks for Water Quality, Chemical Concentration, and Foot Formers. Complete tasks as required in the Master Sanitation Schedule. Complete all the above duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner Follow organization GMP’s and sanitation practices. What you need to be a Permeate Operator: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in a dairy environment or food manufacturing preferred. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work. Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information. Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment. Where You'll Be Working: Our Luxemburg, WI, plant is home to about 170 employees. This facility produces mozzarella and provolone cheese, as well as various whey streams.
