Job Description:
UniFirst Corporation, a leader in providing workplace uniforms

is seeking a highly-skilled Production Manager to join our team. In
this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production
processes and ensuring high levels of productivity are maintained
in a safe and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will be
adept in managing diverse teams, optimizing day-to-day activities
while minimizing the costs. This position plays a pivotal role in
maintaining the exceptional service and quality that UniFirst is
known for. Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day
operations to exceed our customers’ expectations Increase
production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing
unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards Be
responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time
shipping Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to
produce optimal results Implement strategies in alignment with
strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and
focus Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions Collect and
analyze data to find places of waste or overtime Commit to plant
safety procedures Develop systems and processes that track and
optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance
targets to ensure effective return on assets Address employees’
issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining
agreements Influence and learn from below Proven ability to direct
and coordinate operations Strong organizational and leadership
abilities Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines In
depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g.
supply chain, finance, customer service) Working knowledge of data
analysis and performance/operation metrics Familiarity with MS
Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM) Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred Lean
Six Sigma Certification is a plus
