Position Description: The Associate - Purchasing is responsible for
purchasing activities supporting the Lilly Kenosha County,
Wisconsin manufacturing site. This role primarily supports analysis
of purchasing needs, placing orders with suppliers, ensuring proper
inventory levels are maintained, and general support of the supply
chain and logistics team, including Shop Floor Control, Material
Requirements Planning, and Purchasing processes. This role
interfaces with both internal and external teams to achieve key
site objectives. Key Responsibilities/Objectives/Deliverables:
Executing key data creation, maintenance and data design for Master
Data in SAP and associated systems. Creating Bills of Material,
Recipes, Purchasing Info Records, Purchasing and
Planning/Scheduling parameters. Creating and maintaining local
formal Standard Operating Procedures and training materials.
Determining impact of local and/or global changes while ensuring
global data consistency and conformance to Standard Operating
Procedures, including: SAP Master Data maintenance changes;
Interfaced system changes (e.g. MES, etc.) Process changes driven
by Technical Services / Manufacturing Sciences (TSMS) or
Engineering Regulatory changes requiring data updates Supply
changes driven my Production and/or Local Product Owners
Identifying and participating / leading process improvement
initiatives, such as Vendor Managed Inventory systems, Kanban
Material Flow systems, etc. Leveraging appropriate tools / reports
to track maintenance efforts and both data accuracy and
completeness. Participating in annual standard costing for Business
Planning and driving the review of planning parameters.
Troubleshooting SAP execution problems, identifying root causes,
and implementing solutions. Investigating deviations and providing
impact assessments for change management. Contributing to global
initiatives for Master Data Management, attending Power User forums
to share best practices. Maintaining a safe work environment,
working safely and accountable for supporting all Health, Safety &
Environmental Corporate and Site goals. Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain
preferred Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the
United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support

methodologies Experience in the following: GMP guidelines,
procurement, purchasing, planning and capacity planning Experience
with SAP ECC and EWM systems. GMP knowledge and experience.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, EPA) and
quality standards. Strong communication and collaboration skills
working inclusively with other functions and teams. Self-directed,
pro-active, and able to work through ambiguity and drive solutions

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $58,500 -
$150,700 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
