Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution, seeks a dedicated CDL B Local Delivery Driver to efficiently transport our food and related products securely to our prestigious clientele including family-owned restaurants and nationwide chains. This position requires strong dedication to safety, exceptional customer service skills, and pride in representing our respected brand on the front lines. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our promise of timely and professional delivery services, ensuring that all our customers' demands are met with attention to detail and efficiency. Deliver food and related products to various customer sites within assigned routes Ensure timely delivery by managing schedule and routes efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions for process efficiency Unload products at customer locations using required equipment and assist with placement and stacking Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer issues or concerns Strong driving skills and familiarity with local delivery routes Knowledge of transportation and safety laws Ability to use GPS and other routing systems Proficiency in handling transportation documents Physical ability to lift and carry heavy products Excellent organizational and time-management skills Effective communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class B license Clean driving record DOT Medical Card
