Employment Type: W2 Candidates OnlyWe are seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; or Washington, DC. This individual will lead and manage critical technology initiatives with a focus on cybersecurity, documentation, and executive communication. The ideal candidate will be adept in both project management and technical writing, with a firm grasp of security concepts and enterprise-level governance standards.

• Plan, execute, and monitor complex IT and cybersecurity projects
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
• Manage resources, schedules, and risks across organizational units
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements
• Provide comprehensive reporting and visibility on project status and milestones
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and alignment on objectivesTechnical Writing & Documentation
  • Produce clear, detailed, and high-quality documentation, including:
    • Technical process documents
    • Governance and compliance reports
    • Audit-ready materials
    • Executive presentation content
    • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather documentation requirements
    • Maintain document repositories and support document governance lifecycle
    • Tailor documentation for various internal and external audiences
      
      • • Proven experience in project management and project lifecycle coordination
        • Expertise in documentation and technical writing, especially for audit, governance, and executive presentations
        • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
        • Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise documentation for multiple audiences
        • Experience working across multiple teams and business unitsPreferred Knowledge Areas
          • Cybersecurity domains such as:
            • Vulnerability Management
            • Digital Identity & Authentication
            • Data Encryption & API Security
            • Cloud Security Architectures
            • Risk Management FrameworksQualifications
              • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
              • 5+ years of experience in project management within IT or cybersecurity environments
              • PMP or other project management certifications are a plus
              • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
