locations. OVERALL DESCRIPTION OF JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the General Manager in managing the day to day hotel
operations in keeping with all corporate and brand standards.
Maximizes profitability as well as guest and team member
satisfaction. Communicates with hotel owners and corporate offices.
Ensures the development and execution of strategic revenue plans.
RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the General Manager,
retains relationships with peers and all other departments within
the company, maintains relationships with current and prospective
residents, and maintains relationships with suppliers, vendors, and
others serving Gorman & Company or the property. ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Please note that the essential job

- Leads and manages hotel operations, Front Office and
- Responsible for the propertys accounting functionality in
accordance with Gorman & Companys standards and procedures.
- Reviews forecasts and service scores.
- Directs hotel actions required to maximize profitability and
increase service levels and team member satisfaction.
- Ensures brand standards are met.
- Facilitates hotel meetings in General Manager absence.
- Provides input into the hiring, supervision, training,
assessment, coaching, and disciplining of department heads and
other key team members.
- Serves as General Manager in GMs absence from property.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may
be established by Gorman & Company from time to time, is essential
to the successful performance of this position.
- Attends industry meetings and participates in industry
- Participates in and maintains active community relations.
- Participates in corporate activities and meetings as requested.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION
- At least 2-year college (associate) degree preferred
- 4-year college degree preferred EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of successful hotel operations leadership.
Prior general manager experience or AGM experience is preferred.

Environmental/atmospheric conditions commonly associated* with the
performance of this job. While performing the duties of this job,
the employee will primarily endure inside office conditions. Safety
Requirements. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required
when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to
your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE.
Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any
assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective,
damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to
your Manager. Grooming/ Uniforms: All employees must maintain a
neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform
guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained
to you as a part of the orientation process Notice: The hospitality
business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees
may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business
needs of the hotel. In addition, this is a hospitality business and
a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all
