Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced 16-foot box truck driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, experience with commercial driving, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Duties Safely operate a 16-foot box truck for local deliveries and route driving assignments Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the truck and delivery equipment Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and organizing storage areas Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles Experience with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, moving, and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities Physical capability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks regularly Knowledge of route planning and driving efficiently within designated areas Reliable transportation to reach the work site daily Prior experience with commercial driving, load & unload procedures, and route driving is highly preferred Note: All drivers go home daily.
