qualifications will not be considered. Support student health and
wellness as a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered
Nurse (RN) in a school-based setting located in Des Plaines, IL.
This role offers flexible, as-needed shifts ideal for compassionate
nursing professionals who want to make a meaningful impact within a
structured environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct
clinical care including first aid, acute illness treatment, and
emergency management for students and staff. - Develop and
implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care
Plans (ECPs) for students with chronic conditions or disabilities.
- Administer and monitor prescription and over-the-counter
medications safely. - Conduct routine health screenings such as
vision, hearing, and growth assessments. - Maintain accurate and
confidential medical records in compliance with school and health
regulations. - Deliver health education promoting nutrition,
hygiene, disease prevention, and overall wellness. - Ensure
compliance with communicable disease monitoring and school safety
protocols. Qualifications: - Active LPN/LVN or RN license in
Illinois. - Current BLS/CPR/AED certification. - Completed TB test
as required by the school district. - Up-to-date background
clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start. - Prior
experience working with pediatric populations, emergency care, or
community health preferred. - Strong clinical assessment skills,
independent work capability, effective communication, and
proficiency or willingness to learn electronic health record

This flexible, per diem position enables meaningful work with
