In this critical role, you will support surgical teams in a variety of procedures, ensuring operative services are executed with precision and safety. Prepare operating rooms for surgery including sterilizing equipment and ensuring necessary equipment is available and in working order. Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures by providing the necessary instruments and other supplies. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room to prevent infection or contamination. Assist in patient positioning, and preparation for surgery. Follow protocols and regulations for proper waste disposal and equipment sterilization. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Participate in training and educational opportunities to stay updated on latest practices and technologies. Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques Ability to handle surgical instruments safely and efficiently Excellent teamwork and communication skills Attention to detail and high precision in task execution Ability to respond effectively under high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification recommended
