Job Description UW Health is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a per diem / prn nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Per Diem Per Diem Registered Nurses must commit to work a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours, per six (6) week scheduling period in direct patient care. As applicable to operations, one shift should be an evening, night, weekend or holiday. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Pay: Additional components of compensation may include: - Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and 4.25/hour weekend as applicable for hours worked. - Overtime Be part of something remarkable Join the 1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED/ER) to: - Be part of the only healthcare system in Wisconsin that offers Level I Trauma Care for adults and children and a Burn and Wound Center, as verified by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). - Join a department that consists of 40 acute care adult rooms, 11 Pediatric rooms, three multi-purpose procedure rooms, and three Behavioral Health “Safe” rooms. - Fully equipped with three Major Trauma rooms and a Pediatric Resuscitation room to facilitate the care of the critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patient. - New CareSTART area which is open during peak times to expedite the intake process and allow for patient care to begin sooner. An RN and physician see the patient on arrival and care can begin immediately.
