Job Description Job Description Salary: RAMC is hiring a
Certified Pharmacy Technician to work at our new La Valle Clinic
set to open in Fall of 2025! Rotating 8 hour shifts M-F 7:30AM -
7:30PM Saturday & Sunday 9AM-5PM What you'll do: This is a
full-performance-level position within the Reedsburg Area Medical
Center Pharmacy Department. The role serves as an all-around
assistant to the pharmacist, requiring performance of duties with
an understanding of the workflow, the pharmacy routine, and the
responsibilities of the Pharmacy Service. Education and Training
Required: Successful completion of four years above high school
with courses related to pharmacy (e.g., 48 semester hours of
science, mathematics, pharmacy) or a bachelors degree. ORAn
associates degree in pharmacy technician (48 semester hours of
concentrated pharmacy technician training). OR Four years of
pharmacy technician experience ANDCertification of CPhT from PTCB
or ExCPT from NHA Must have 1500 hours of experience as a
pharmacist technician within the past three years or completed an
accredited pharmacy technician training program. BLS certification
required. Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, standing,
sitting, reaching, manual/fine dexterity, grasping, and hearing at
close distance. Occasional bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling,
and squatting. Occasional ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to
50 pounds. Sight: Near and far vision is required in order to
visualize computer screens, review documents, assist patients and
other members of the healthcare team. Cognition/Communication:
Ability to participate in all aspect of communication in regards to
writing, reading, math, hearing and comprehensive speech skills.
