We are seeking a reliable and experienced Therapist/Assistant to join our Rehab Team as a Regional Director of Operations! A Regional Director of Operations is a skilled, registered and licensed professional (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA) and is responsible for all financial, operational and clinical operations within a specified geographic region. The Regional Director of Operations work under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Operations and supports the overall efforts and priorities of the Weston Healthcare Group. - Region spans approximately 3 hours north and 5 hours west from Milwaukee (are highest volume area). MAIN FUNCTION Regional Director of Operations work under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Operations and supports the overall efforts and priorities of the Weston Healthcare Group. POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Regional Directors of Operations manage clinical and operational functions for the region and assist the Vice President of Operations in developing fiscal and clinical goals for the region. Regional Directors of Operations hire, supervise, orient, train, evaluate, counsel and terminate area supervised staff including Clinical Coordinators in consultation with the Vice President of Operations. Enforce corporate policies and procedures to assure staff compliance. Complete and review Quality Assurance Summaries for each facility within the region with the assistance of Area Clinical Coordinators. Communicate and coordinate regional functions to assure team effectiveness, positive team relationships and continued clinical proficiency. Perform routine Customer Satisfaction Surveys with customers to ensure successful relations. Ensure staff participation in utilization review, patient care conferences, marketing meetings, rehabilitations conferences, and area meetings as needed. Oversee development and growth of regional revenue with assistance of the Vice President of Operations. Assists the vice president in setting goals and objectives for region to include financials. Control expenditures to meet budgetary requirements. Regional Directors of Operations oversee fiscal operations via routine reports, meeting with Area Clinical Coordinators and other supervisors to meet budgetary expectations. Assist the Vice President of Operations in identifying and marketing potential customers and new customer proposal designs. Design and implement contract specific agendas to meet market needs. Provide skilled therapy services, in accordance with Professional Licensure, as needed. Provide support and direction for all assigned staff as needed. Monitor all activities of assigned staff including service provision, documentation, billing and entering payroll appropriately and timely in accordance with company policy. Monitor payroll entries to ensure that staff are working the appropriate number of hours as required by the employee's status. Complete other duties as requested by the Vice President of Operations and other senior corporate staff to promote the viability of The Weston Healthcare Group. SUPERVISION Regional Director of Operations provide clinical and administrative supervision to Physical Therapists and Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists, Administrative Assistants and Rehabilitation Techs and Area Clinical Coordinators within their assigned geographic region. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift 35 pounds. Safe moving, lifting or transferring of patients is required. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must demonstrate appropriate and applicable fine motor skills. Must demonstrate adequate visual acuity for safety with patient interaction. EDUCATION AND TRAINING Regional Directors of Operations must be a graduate of an accredited program within their discipline. LICENSURE OR REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS Regional Directors of Operations must be licensed in their specific state and provide an acceptable Criminal Background Check.
