Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night / Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU Level III/IV experience,
with at least 1 year in Level IV NICU. Experience with
post-operative patients, g-tubes, trach/vent management, and
various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation required.
License: Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: BLS
certification required. NRP certification required. Telemetry
experience and Basic Arrhythmia experience required. Must-Have:
Epic experience preferred within the last 12 months. Traveler must
be able to pass a telemetry test prior to start. Description:
Provide care for critically ill newborns and infants across the
continuum of care, from admission to discharge. This NICU is
dedicated to patient-and family-centered care. Care for infants
requiring advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including
various medical and surgical complexities. The unit includes 26
beds and oversees high acuity neonates with multiple diagnoses,
including those requiring surgery or specialized interventions. The
role may involve floating to care for patients less than 12 months
of age. Weekend shifts of 2-3 per 6-week scheduling period are
required. Travelers will float to other units depending on staffing
needs. Pass/Fail testing with strict passing criteria will be
required. Telemetry exams must be passed to begin work. All
candidates must meet the minimum experience requirements for the
specialty submitted. Daily census typically includes around 17
patients, with support from interdisciplinary teams. Special
equipment including ventilators for invasive and noninvasive
ventilation is used on the unit. Requirements Required for
