Registered Nurse (RN) | Geriatrics / Skilled Nursing Facility Location: Janesville, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,272 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Skilled Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current WI License Certifications: CPR Must-Have: Experience in Skilled Nursing Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have a current WI License and CPR. The traveler may float to other inpatient units due to census. This position requires working 36 hours per week on the night shift of 1830-0700. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice acts. Documenting according to standards of care. Developing, initiating, and executing a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by a physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participating in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilizing clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. Utilizing critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, and appropriately escalating issues to the suitable chain of command. Holiday coverage may be required.
