Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Technologist-Radiology to join our radiology team. As part of our mission to innovate healthcare and provide compassionate, personalized care, the Lead Technologist will play a pivotal role in managing radiological services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging. This role requires advanced knowledge of radiologic technology, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care. Oversee the daily operations of the radiology department. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards. Supervise and mentor radiology staff, promoting continuous professional development. Collaborate with medical staff to optimize diagnostic imaging protocols. Manage the maintenance and functionality of radiologic imaging equipment. Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of radiologic procedures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery. Expertise in various radiological imaging techniques and technologies. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively. Experience with healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements.
