Job Description UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Pediatrics for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics - Discipline: Nurse Practitioner - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday and 1:3 weekends. /n Be part of something remarkable /n As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. /n We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: /n /n - Care for patients in the Cardiac ICU, Neonatal ICU and in the general care units. /n - Provide outpatient coverage in the Cardiology Clinic as needed /n /n Education: /n Minimum - /n /n - If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program /n - If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program. /n /n Licenses and Certifications: /n Minimum - /n /n - If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND Active board certification as a NP in the following: Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. /n - /n If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification. /n *All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
