a qualified Dialysis RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in
inpatient hemodialysis. License: Must be licensed as a Registered
Nurse in the State of Wisconsin or hold a compact license.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through American Heart
Association. Must-Have: Experience with adults and pediatric
patient population. Epic experience preferred within the last 12
months. Description: Join a team of remarkable nurses in providing
intermittent dialysis and support services for continuous renal
replacement therapy to patients of all ages. Provide hemodialysis
treatments at the bedside for patients requiring intensive or
intermediate level care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
in the management of care for patients needing hemodialysis in an
inpatient setting. Travelers must have inpatient hemodialysis
experience in an academic level trauma center or similar size
hospital. Peritoneal dialysis and continuous renal replacement
therapy experience preferred. Floating may occur as staffing needs
dictate. Shifts may be scheduled in multiple units and locations
based on current staffing needs. COVID-19 vaccination is not
required, but flu vaccination is required with medical or religious
exemptions only. Telemetry experience is required, and a telemetry
test must be passed prior to starting. Must be willing to support a
diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents,
adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census ranges from 24-40,
with the unit having 9 beds. Interdisciplinary support is available
from various teams, including physical therapy and respiratory
services. Patient diagnoses include chronic kidney disease and
acute kidney injury. Travelers will be required to have certain
