Job Description:
Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS)
is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator to join our team
of compassionate professionals. This pivotal role involves
overseeing and enhancing mental health services across various
programs designed to provide support and empowerment for
individuals and communities in need. The successful candidate will
collaborate closely with mental health professionals, clients, and
community partners to deliver tailored mental health interventions
and programs that align with LSS's mission to promote health,
healing, and hope. Develop and implement mental health programs
that comply with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other
stakeholders to ensure integrated service delivery. Assess
community needs and adapt programs to meet those needs effectively.
Provide training and support to staff on mental health issues and
interventions. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mental
health services and make recommendations for improvements. Ensure
compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
concerning mental health services. Prepare reports and maintain
records associated with program activities and outcomes. Strong
knowledge of mental health issues and therapy methods Excellent
organizational and leadership skills Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to handle multiple
tasks and prioritize effectively Proficient in data management and
analysis Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) or equivalent
preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as
needed.
