Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
a PACU position requiring Phase I, Pre-Op, and Phase II experience
and an active IL RN license. Responsibilities - Work in the
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital surgical/OR
setting - Duties include Phase I PACU, Pre-Op, and Phase II patient
care - Four 10-hour day shifts weekly, Monday through Friday with
variable start and end times - Weekend and holiday on-call coverage
required as part of a rotation - Potential for night call coverage
if night shift calls in (Monday–Thursday) - No guaranteed call
shifts but participation in on-call pool expected -
Responsibilities include recovery of post-operative patients across
all surgical specialties - Must be able to provide age-appropriate
care and emergency interventions as needed - Participation in
rotating holiday coverage required - Candidate must be flexible
with shift variations and on-call demands Requirements - Active
Illinois RN license required - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS,
and PALS required - Experience in PACU Phase I, Pre-Op, and Phase
