qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53226! Pay
Information $2,494 per week About The Position Job Title:

Minimum years of experience required License: Current Registered
Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: Must pass Basic Rhythm
Interpretation (BRI) test with a score of 85 or higher upon
starting. ICU experience and Level 1 trauma center experience
required. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for
assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for
a designated group of patients in an inpatient environment. This
individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a
primarily adult population. Knowledge of ventilator settings,
intubations, and commonly used medications in the MICU is
essential. Experience with critical conditions such as respiratory
concerns, diabetic ketoacidosis, overdose, and electrolyte
abnormalities is required. Understanding of procedures such as
paracentesis, thoracentesis, and management of chest tubes and
drains is essential. Clinical competence and experience in the care
and management of the target patient population specific to the
area of employment is necessary. Professional knowledge of nursing
theory and practice, generally acquired through completion of
education at an accredited School of Nursing, is required. A
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Upon hire, any non-BSN
nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurse
experience will be required to enroll in a BSN or higher nursing
degree program. Acceptance into a program is expected within 15
months of hire, and the degree program must be completed within
five years of enrollment, or six years for a Master’s or higher
