Position Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to support their team. This short-term contract offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on critical care for an elderly population. The role requires a strong clinical skill set, the ability to float if needed, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency care for patients in a cardio-focused ER setting • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective care • Accurately chart in Epic and respond to urgent and emergent clinical situations • Float to other campuses (Evanston, Glenbrook, Skokie) within the ER service line, if required • Participate in a schedule that includes every other weekend and one holiday shift Required Qualifications: • Active Illinois RN license • Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke, PALS, TNCC or TNS • Must pass EKG test on first day • Epic charting experience • No more than 3 days off during the assignment • Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer About MedCadre At MedCadre, headquartered in Irvine, California and serving healthcare organizations nationwide, we connect exceptional clinicians with world-class career opportunities while upholding the highest standards of ethics, fairness, and integrity.
