CLOSE TO CHICAGO, MILWAUKEE, AND MADISON!Mercyhealth is seeking board certified Core Faculty Family Medicine Physicians in Rockford, IL. Excellent opportunity to teach residents and provide patient care.Two positions available - General Family Medicine Core Faculty and Obstetric Family Medicine Core Faculty.Mercyhealth is an award-winning, multi-regional, integrated health system comprising of 7 hospitals, more than 700 employed physicians, over 85 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. • Craft your outpatient practice and share your expertise precepting residents.
• Backup call only
• Epic EHR
• Newborn rounding (in rotation with other faculty members)

  • MD/DO Board Certified
  • Residency training from an ACGME accredited family medicine program.
    • OB Faculty only - Fellowship training in Obstetrics or have current obstetric practice.
    • The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
    • A passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting.
      • OB Faculty only - includes hospital setting.
      • Skilled in proving exceptional care for all ages.
