General Surgery Job Opening in Sterling, IL Located 2 hours from Chicago, IL Positon Information: - Part-time or full-time- Permanent position- Seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon who prefers to practice in an environment that will offer a comfortable work-life balance in a community of about 26,000 residents.- The ideal candidate will have a broad-based traditional general surgery background. - Procedures include all abdominal, all breast, some endocrine, and minimal trauma. Cases can be broadly described as bread and butter. Laparoscopic skills required. - Thoracic surgical skills preferred. Minimally Invasive Fellowship trained is also preferred.- Call is (1:3), and you will be joining a practice with 2 other surgeons with RN and MA support.- Ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsies, as well as breast MR on-site.
