Stepping Stones of Rockford, Inc. is Northern Illinois' leading provider of residential psychiatric rehabilitation programs designed to meet the recovery needs of adults with serious mental illnesses. Our mission is to help our clients face the challenges of day-to-day recovery, build competence in their skills, confidence in themselves and develop the social roles of their choice.
Mental Health Professionals assist adults with mental illness in completing actives of daily living in residential and community settings. These full time position with benefits includes paid time off, holiday pay, health insurance, dental/ vision insurance, 15K life insurance, 125 Flex Spending, and a 401 K matching retirement savings plan. Hours are second shift and e/o weekend.
Qualification Requirements:

• To perform this job successfully, an employee must have knowledge of behavioral science, good organizational skills and be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• He or she must also possess good self-discipline, leadership and problem solving skills, patience, reasoning and good judgment.
• Must be 21 years of age, and have a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle at work.
• Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree or five years experience in mental health or a related social service field.
• Formal training is provided by the agency and must be Successfully completed in a timely fashion as a requirement of continued employment.
• This position meets the qualifications of Medicaid Rule 140, Mental Health Professional. This is a very rewarding job that allows you to make a difference in someone's life. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16-$16.50 per hour Requirements:
