Our ideal candidate has great customer service skills and can tackle everything from fielding customer concerns and scheduling appointments for our service department to make accurate calls about vehicle warranty protections. Responsibilities:

--- Appropriately file all automotive documents such as maintenance records, invoices, repair orders, and more
--- Lead vehicle pick-up efforts by coordinating efforts with auto service porters and customers
--- Resolve customer complaints and make follow-up calls to facilitate a positive service center experience
--- Leverage automotive technology and product knowledge to clearly address customer needs and share the status of service appointments
--- Review and verify vehicle warranty protections and service contract coverage when developing cost estimates, work orders, and other paperwork related to necessary repairs


Qualifications:

--- Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
--- A valid, state-issued driver's license and clean driving record is required
--- Work history should include a service advisor role or other employment-related to automotive technology
--- A high school diploma or GED is required
--- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary

Who is Grote Automotive? Fred Grote has been in the car business for over 25 years. He opened his 1st store in Fort Wayne, IN in 2008. Growing from 25 cars a month to 200 he opened a 2nd store in Warsaw, IN. After Great success there his 3rd store came to Rockford, IL. The 4th and 5th stores have just arrived in IN in 2022 as well. We plan to open 1 more in 2024. We opened here in Rockford in December 2020 and have been growing FAST. We specialize in solving transportation problems that most dealerships can't.
