Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a current Maintenance Technician job in Roscoe, IL. This is a Direct-Hire opportunity. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing work involving maintenance - repair to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment working properly. Responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician job include:

•Complete work as assigned to ensure efficient, cost effective and timely repairs to production/logistics equipment (including troubleshooting, problem-solving and preventive maintenance on equipment)

•Ensure all safety, housekeeping and environmental rules and guidelines are followed per quality control, ISO, OSHA and plant rules and procedures

•Manage assigned inventory to acceptable levels within the department

•Ensure all pertinent data related to corrective and preventive maintenance activities are documented in the appropriate systems

•Drive improvements in maintenance performance indicators to increase plant profitability

•Actively participate in all departmental training and continuous improvement activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

•High school diploma or GED

•4-6 years experience in an industrial maintenance environment (working with hydraulics, electrical motors, pumps, compressors, transformers, welding, lighting replacement, general plumbing and other building repairs)

•Experience with PLC based applications in an industrial environment

•Experience with MS Office applications

We have openings on 2nd Shift.

Hours: 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Days of Week: Monday - Thursday
