Your positive impact, excellent clinical skills, experience, and natural talents have prepared you to step into a nurse leadership role at ProMedica Senior Care.The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists with the clinical activities of the main agency, including, but not limited to, planning and evaluating professional health services and conferring with other staff to assure that services at the agency is provided at quality levels consistent with professional standards and goals. Is qualified to act as an Administrator in the absence of that individual.Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with DPS, oversees admission process, conducts on-site initial clinical assessment and periodic reassessment at the Site(s) as needed, and communicates with physicians, as needed.
• Plans, coordinates, and delivers care to patient and families at the Site as appropriate.
• Delegates and assigns the patient/family to appropriate staff and team members ensuring highest quality care.
• Supervises the staff at the Site and is responsible for clinical/professional programs and provides assistance with development, implementation, and evaluation of the respective programs.
• Schedules, maintains, and collaborates with DPS to facilitate the interdisciplinary team meetings for continual updating of patient care plans, exchange of information, and problem solving.
• Develops and promotes programs for continuing staff support, in-service, and education.
• Implements and monitors compliance with rules and regulations of Federal and State regulatory agencies and accreditation requirements at the Site(s).There's no better definition of career fulfillment than the experience of watching your patients get back to their daily routine.   Educational Requirements
  
  Currently licensed in the state as RN; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  
  Position Requirements
  
  Two years experience as a RN with 1-year nursing supervisory experience.
