We aim to increase fuel economy, reduce emissions and improve engine control through our technical solutions and precision engineering.We create value for our customers through:Developing world class technology with innovative solutions that meet the demands of our customers/end markets;Selling locally to our global customers by capitalising on our global infrastructure and teams;Embedding business excellence in all that we do.Our people go the extra mile to ensure that Concentric provides value and the highest performance to our customers every step of the way to deliver technology and innovation for a sustainable future.We are seeking to hire a Vice President of Sales for our Hydraulics business in North America.Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will have a strong strategic outlook and be responsible for developing and delivering the sales growth strategy, maintaining the groups focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction through the delivery of set objectives.As the key point of contact for customers you will be responsible for establishing and developing the relationships to ensure growth targets are achieved.You will focus on increasing profitable revenues through both new and existing accounts in a hands-on leadership position.A first-class communicator and sales leader you will be proven in a customer facing leadership role within a manufacturing environment for engineering components. --Experience of the automotive market is preferred.A process-orientated sales approach with the ability to effectively engage and manage key relationships internally and externally across all stakeholder groups.Comfortable operating in a hands-on leadership position with the ability to nurture and develop a team of sales professionals.Roles and Responsibilities in more detail:Develops strategic and operational sales plans for North America that align with divisional and Group plans and links with other functions, as appropriate. Sets goals for self and team and drives the actions necessary to achieve the profitable sales plans with new and existing customers. --Accountable for the sales and profit margins on sales to meet demanding financial targets.--Works with colleagues to optimize operational planning and cash flow.--Pricing policy and margin management are critical components to success. Has full responsibility for customer account management, including preparation of customer proposals, agreeing negotiating parameters and tactics (leading negotiations where appropriate) and post sales follow up.--Supports warranty investigations, from time to time.--Works closely with the Hydraulics Leadership Team and others to create an effective Account Management Plan for strategic customers to ensure strong and enduring customer relationships and to target increased growth.Partners closely with the MDs in the regions to drive profitable growth, organically and through acquisition.--Co-ordinates and directs the activities of his/her direct reports and liaises with colleagues and peers in other functional areas, such as Engineering and Quality, Manufacturing, Production, Customer Services, Supply Chain and the support functions, to ensure customer needs are met and high service standards are maintained.--Completes, presents and acts upon customer and competitor analysis and market reviews to inform sales planning and forecasting, and new product design.--Devises sales and marketing budgets and periodic forecasts for review and approval.--Drives improvement in the Key Performance Indicators and reports regularly on sales progress against the Prospects Tracker and the Strategic Plan. Maintains effective financial and process controls to meet budget commitments, (including pricing and margin management).--This includes reviewing and approving budgets, expenditures and capital investments within his/her scope. Establishes an effective organizational structure within his/her scope.--Ensures the selection and on-going leadership, coaching and development of appropriate individuals to deliver results.--Allocates resources to support projects and effectively monitors and evaluates performance, providing support when needed and managing poor performance swiftly, if necessary.Uses regular reviews and routines to ensure that, for team and self, there is strict adherence to all relevant regulations and laws and that internal policies, processes and procedures are followed.--Complies with controls and high standards of Corporate Governance and demonstrates transparency.
