Job Description:

A Supplier Quality Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Rockford, IL. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least five years of quality engineering experience (within aerospace ideally) and are willing to travel regionally. You will be working at our Belcan office and onsite at our client s supplier facilities. The role is in place to mitigate issues and validate supplier actions to prevent future issues.

Supplier Quality Engineering job duties:
Conduct Supplier Quality Investigations
Verify defined mistake proofing and corrective actions are implemented
Review PPAP, including PFMEA
Conduct and train suppliers on Manufacturing Process Reviews (MPR), Pro-Cert, Gage R&R, etc.
Lead Manufacturing Process Review

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Five years or more of supplier quality engineering experience
Full understanding of PPAP, PFMEA, MPR, Pro-Cert, and Gage R&R
Able to utilize MS Office tools (Excel, MS Project, and Word etc.)

Desired but not required skills:
Knowledge of ZDP methodology
