Our client, a leading organization in facilities management and maintenance, is seeking a Commercial Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Commercial Maintenance Technician , you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and facility integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Commercial Maintenance Technician Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois Pay: $30-$34/hr What's the Job? Maintain and repair building systems including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and food equipment Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and control networks Support maintenance of conveyors, sortation systems, and automation controls Document work performed and update work order statuses in real-time using CMMS systems Participate in safety training and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations What's Needed? High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and maintain food service and control network equipment Hands-on electrical experience, including working with 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills Valid state driver’s license and ability to lift at least 80 lbs., climb ladders, and work in adverse conditions What's in it for me?
