Job Description:
Constellation Energy seeks a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer
to join our dynamic team in the energy sector, focusing on
developing and optimizing technology and systems in power
generation, transmission, and distribution. This role is critical
in enabling us to meet our commitments to sustainable, reliable,
and efficient energy solutions. In this position, you will be
responsible for designing, testing, and implementing mechanical
systems and ensuring they meet safety and efficiency standards.
This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about tackling
energy challenges through innovative engineering solutions. Develop
and design mechanical components and systems for energy production
and management. Perform analysis and simulations on mechanical
systems to ensure efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with
electrical and control systems. Manage project timelines and
documentation, ensuring all engineering projects meet legal and
quality standards. Monitor and report on the performance of
mechanical systems, suggesting improvements based on operational
data. Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD mechanical design software.
Experience with thermodynamics and energy management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project
management capabilities. Knowledge of mechanical parts as well as
electrical systems involved in product design. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE)
license preferred. Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
is a plus.
