My client, a metal stamping manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead their quality department. This role involves overseeing and maintaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems, managing customer complaints and communications, and supervising two direct reports: the Metrology Supervisor and the Quality Lab Supervisor. This role is part of a strategic succession plan, with the intention for the selected candidate to eventually step into the Head of Quality position. Description Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) Department Ensure product quality by developing, assessing, and improving manufacturing processes in our production centers Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Contribute to new product development and enhance existing production processes Uphold company quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 audit requirements Champion quality initiatives across the organization Manage PPAP submissions and ensure alignment with customer quality expectations Oversee manufacturing operations to verify product quality Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine product quality and process methodologies Profile Background in metal fabrication or machining 5 years of managerial experience Experience maintaining an ISO 9001 QMS Customer interaction experience Experience with ISO 13485 is preferred Sponsorship is not provided Job Offer Base salary up to $150,000 Health, dental, vision insurance 401(k) matching 3-4 weeks PTO Sign-on bonus MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
