The Operations Manager will serve as a key leader at my client's facility based near O'Hare. You will oversee all Manufacturing & Facilities operations, while working to achieve key improvement deliverables to Safety, Product Quality, Production Costs, and Employee Development. Description Spearhead Safety initiatives across the facility, with a goal of reducing accident potential Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing and engineering department Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity Manage site budgets, maintaining close attention to costs in all departments Ensure compliance with industry and company standards Manage and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and warehouse employees Coordinate with other departments to achieve company objectives Prepare and present operational reports to executive management Identify and manage operational risks and opportunities Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department Profile Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field Experience managing full manufacturing facility operations Proven ability to drive improvements to Quality, Production Efficiency, Safety, & Employee Performance Track record managing facility budgets and reducing overall costs Experience interviewing, hiring, and firing Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Job Offer Base salary range $130,000 - $150,000 depending on level of experience Annual bonus incentive of 15% based on personal metrics 23 days PTO 8 company holidays Comprehensive benefits package through BCBS Top-of-industry networking and professional training/leadership opportunities Professional growth and development opportunities A collaborative and inclusive company culture MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
