Outstanding opportunity for a Controls Engineer with designing and programming skills. -Enjoy a mix of hands-on control systems programming while participating and working with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve equipment performance. - We are looking for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and like to be challenged. -American Aluminum Extrusion Company is a fast-growing company that supplies high-quality aluminum extrusions and Aluminum fabrications to some of the most demanding markets.Position Summary:The Controls Engineer is responsible for the development of new and support of existing automation systems. The candidate executes projects from the initial concept through the design stage and implementation. -Primary Responsibilities:

• Designing new and modifying existing electrical schematics using AutoCAD
• Developing wiring diagrams, cabinets layouts, and BOM
• Knowledge of AB PLC, and ability to write programs from scratch as well as modify existing programs. -
• Understanding of automation network setup
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
• Maintain documentation up to date.
• Troubleshooting all electrical/control-related problemsExperience:

• Education equivalent to a BSEE or 5 years of hands-on experience.
