This role is a blend of application engineering and product management, and will be a great opportunity for someone looking for an opportunity to touch mulitpe areas of the business including: engineering, operations, sales and marketing. The ideal candidate should have experience working in the water/wastewater industry, and this position will provide life cycle product management for all products within the market space.--They will act as the subject matter expert in that market space and will function as a primary resource to the sales, engineering, and service teams in supporting the productResponsibilities* Develop and present technical and commercial presentations, papers, trade show exhibitions, etc * Monitors and assists with all sales activities (bids, quotations, forecasts, pricing strategy, etc) to ensure gross margin targets are achieved to include supporting Application Engineering and Estimating in reviewing bid specifications and drawings as required.* Review all marketing, sales and warranty activities related to the products and make recommendations to enhance product performance, positioning and promotion.* Development of product roadmap for all products within the market space.--Defines R&D / Engineering programs in order to develop new products and improvements. * Support Application Engineering, Regional Manager, Representatives, and Cooperative Partners.* Lead pilot testing program (as applicable).* Negotiate contract language as it relates to warranty and process guarantees.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting* Experience in the water/wastewater industry* Excellent presentation skills, and must be comfortable in a customer facing role
