Job Description:

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school setting, committed to fostering a supportive environment for students with special needs. This exciting role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students, with a particular focus on those for whom English is a second language. The successful candidate will be instrumental in consulting with teachers and parents, developing individualized educational plans, and ensuring each child's academic growth and success in a supportive bilingual environment. Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for bilingual students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with school personnel and parents to support student communication needs. Provide intervention and support for students with speech and language disorders. Document and maintain student progress and therapy outcomes. Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech therapy goals. Proficiency in English and at least one other language (e.g., Spanish, Chinese) Strong understanding of speech-language pathology practices and principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to write reports and correspondences relevant to speech therapy. Experience with special education and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Bilingual certification or credential (if available)
