Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to support
high school students in grades 9 through 12. This contract position
is focused on providing tailored instruction and support to
students with mild to moderate behaviors, primarily those
identified with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD). Experience
working with speech-related services as a related service is also
needed. Location: Joliet, Illinois High school setting Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate disabilities
Provide specialized instruction to students with SLD, integrating
speech services in collaboration with related service providers
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet
diverse learning needs Collaborate with regular and special
education staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance
student outcomes Maintain accurate records and documentation in
compliance with state and federal regulations Qualifications: Valid
special education teaching certification Experience working with
high school students, particularly those with SLD and mild to
moderate behavioral challenges Knowledge of IEP development and
implementation Ability to collaborate effectively with
multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists This contract
